An Naidheachd Againne: ACGA Newsletter Archive

ANA-2

One of ACGA’s most important activities is the production of our newsletter, An Naidheachd Againne (which means “Our News”, or equally, “Our Stories”).

Over the years, An Naidheachd Againne evolved from a typewritten, photocopied publication mostly in English to a digital and fully bilingual newsletter. To our knowledge, it’s the only bilingual publication of its type now in print.

Here’s a collection of 140 past issues, dating back to 1987 (we have issues yet to be scanned for the archives). There’s a huge amount of information in Gaelic and English here for the learner and fluent reader of Scottish Gaelic. There’s also a fount of historical information on ACGA and Scottish Gaelic in North America.

Each link is followed by a short listing of feature contents for that issue, excluding, for the most part, regular columns and reports. After 2009, titles in Gàidhlig represent (mostly) bilingual articles.

Please note that we reserve the current year’s issues as a member benefit, so they’re not here yet. Information on joining is here, though, and we would welcome you as a member.
