The Mòd 1999

 


Nearly fifty people competed in the 1999 Mòd, from beginning students to fluent speakers. Not all walked away with medals, but all, in a bigger sense, were winners. Ceud taing to those who made the 12th annual Mòd an outstanding event.

The Dr. John (Iain) Cameron Awards are presented for excellence in Gaelic prose. The late Dr. Cameron, a native of Kingussie, Scotland, was the founder of ACGA.
